The 3M™ Tegaderm™ High Performance Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing is a non-adherent wound dressing that can be used as a primary or secondary dressing for low to highly exuding partial and full thickness wounds and under compression. The multi-layer construction of the foam dressing results in excellent fluid management making it absorbent and breathable to reduce the risk of maceration. 3M’s innovative multi-layer technology absorbs and evaporates moisture to maintain an optimal wound healing environment.

3M™ Tegaderm™ High Performance Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing

Designed to meet the challenges of low to highly exuding wounds.

Featuring a unique multi-layer design, the 3M™ Tegaderm™ High Performance Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing adapts to changing levels of exudate to maintain an optimal environment throughout the healing process. As a non-adhesive foam dressing, it offers easy removal. It can be used as a primary dressing for low to highly exuding partial and full thickness dermal wounds including pressure ulcers, ulcers of the lower extremity, skin tears, donor sites, surgical wounds, abrasions, superficial and partial thickness burns. It is suitable for use around tube exit sites and with compression therapy.

  • Stackable multi-layer dressing design which combines absorbency with breathability

The 3M™ Tegaderm™ High Performance Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing's multi-layer design combines absorbency with breathability to reduce the risk of maceration.

    1. Highly breathable film: protects the wound from strikethrough and adapts to changing levels of exudate to maintain the moisture balance for an optimal moist wound environment.

    2. Moisture control layer: facilitates evaporation of moisture from the wound through the highly breathable adhesive film backing.

    3. Superabsorbent layer: absorbs and retains moisture away from the wound, minimising backward moisture migration.

    4. Soft absorbent foam layer: wicks moisture away from the skin and into the secondary layers and has minimal swell, which decreases the potential for disruption of healing tissue.

Suggested applications
  • Indicated for use as a primary or secondary dressing for use on partial and full thickness dermal wound with low to high levels of exudate such as
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Ulcers of the lower extremity
  • Skin tears
  • Donor sites
  • Surgical wounds
  • Abrasions
  • Superficial partial thickness burns
